Records Management Assistant
Competition No. 2022-08

The Municipality of Wawa is currently recruiting for a Records Management Assistant, for an eight-month contract position (approx. May 2 to November 18, 2022).  The Records Management Assistant will support the records management program by assisting with the planning, and implementing of the electronic records management program. Reporting to the Municipal Clerk, the Records Management Assistant will assist with incorporating the paper documents into electronic record format by scanning, copying or converting paper documents to readable electronic format. Provide support and assist other departments with incorporating departmental records into the new electronic records system.

Required Education and Experience:

Office Administration education or background with possible experience performing records management duties in a computerized records management environment. Record Management diploma or experience would be an asset but not required.

Proficiency in MS Office (Work, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) required. Knowledge with TOMRMS file management and document management would be an asset.

Rate of Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending upon education and experience.
