The Municipality of Wawa is working hard to promote housing development in Wawa!
- We have partnered with Northern Policy Institute to develop a housing needs assessment for Wawa in 2025
- We have revised our downtown Zoning by-laws to allow for more 2nd floor residential unit development
- We are also offering incentives to promote housing development through our Community Improvement Plan’s Financial Incentives Program (Residential/Office Rehabilitation and Conversion Grant).
