Alamos Community Engagement Sessions
N1 Strategy Inc. has been engaged by Alamos Gold Inc. - Island Gold Prodigy Mine (AGI) to conduct a Social Economic Baseline Study (SEBS) to assess key factors related to its operations in the Superior East Region. A component of this work is to assess the public’s perception of AGI. The study aims to evaluate the impacts of AGI on Dubreuilville, Wawa, First Nations communities, and the surrounding region. The findings will help guide future decision-making and ensure that the voices of local residents, businesses, and stakeholders are considered in AGI’s planning and operations.
Your Input is Needed!
We invite community members, businesses, and other stakeholders to attend one of two community engagement sessions in Dubreuilville and Wawa that will gather and assess stakeholder sentiment regarding AGI’s operations and their impact.
Why These Sessions Matter.
These sessions, along with other information gathered, will help identify potential benefits and challenges related to AGI’s presence in the region. Your input will ensure that key social and economic factors—especially those affecting Dubreuilville, Wawa, First Nations, Indigenous traditional lands, and vulnerable populations—are properly understood and addressed by Alamos in the short and longer term.
