Municipal Office Closed - September 30, 2021

Municipal Offices including the Landfill Site, the Community Centre
and the Infrastructure Service Department
will be CLOSED  Thursday, September 30th, 2021, 
for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Regular Office Hours will resume on Friday, October 1st, 2021

 

Taxes due on September 30th can be paid until 4:00 p.m. on October 1st at the municipal office.

Ontario Recognizes World Alzheimer’s Day

Today, the Honourable Raymond Cho, Minister for Seniors and Accessibility, issued the following statement in recognition of World Alzheimer’s Day:

“Each year on September 21, we recognize World Alzheimer’s Day to bring focus and awareness to the fight against the debilitating effects of this terrible disease across Ontario. Raising awareness can result in early detection and diagnosis, greatly improving the quality of life for affected individuals.

Wawa, ON: Wawa Council is committed to truth and reconciliation, and building good relationships with our Indigenous neighbours.
