Half-Load Restrictions 2023

REDUCED LOAD RESTRICTIONS

Due to current weather, the Municipality is placing a half load restriction effective immediately starting March 29, 2023 on the following roadways:

  • Tremblay Flats Road
  • Harbour Road
  • High Falls Road
  • Steep Hill Road

Mayor and Council of the Municipality of Wawa invite residents to review and provide feedback into the 2023 Draft Operating Budget.

Due to the location of the Municipal Water intake, ICE FISHING IS NOT PERMITTED between the points at which Gold Street and Ontario Street terminate at Wawa Lake.

A distance of 1,000 feet from the shoreline IS A PROHIBITED AREA. ONTARIO WATER RESOURCES ACT, SECTION 33, SUBSECTION 1(B)
