SUMMER EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

RATE OF PAY: $17.75 to $18.75 per hour

The Municipality of Wawa is recruiting for summer job positions that begin either in May, or June or early July and last until the end of August 2026, some with possibility of extension into September. The Municipality is looking for enthusiastic employees that work really well in a team environment. We will provide those hired with a great experience including on-the-job training, learning opportunities, mentorship, and a free gym membership during employment. 

Adults over 18 and youth in school over the age of 15 are invited to apply for summer jobs. Some positions are government funded and must be filled by students aged 15 to 25 who are attending school full-time (September to April) and will be returning to full time studies in the Fall. Please indicate on your resume.

·       Parks Maintenance Labourer

·       Public Works Maintenance Labourer

·       Airport Maintenance Labourer

·       Tourist Centre Travel Counsellor

·       Recreation Programmer
